Gaussian 16 C.02版本支持NVIDIA A100 GPUs

 

美國(guó)Gaussian公司發(fā)布Gaussian16 C.02版本支持NVIDIA A100（Ampere）GPU和NVIDIA SDK編譯器版本21.3。

 

請(qǐng)注意：C.02版本與C.01版本的區(qū)別僅在于在x86-64 Linux系統(tǒng)上包含對(duì)NVIDIA A100 GPU的支持。如果用戶(hù)不使用NVIDIA A100 GPU，則沒(méi)有必要升級(jí)當(dāng)前的C.01版本。除了對(duì)A100 GPU支持外，其二進(jìn)制編譯版本與C.01版本功能相同。

 

目前C.02版本只提供Gaussian16源代碼版本和Gaussian16 AVX2編譯的x86-64 Linux版本。所有其它操作系統(tǒng)的Gaussian16軟件的最新版本仍為C.01。

We are pleased to announce the release of Gaussian 16, Revision C.02, which is a minor revision update to support NVIDIA A100 (Ampere) GPUs and the NVIDIA SDK compiler version 21.3.

 

Please note that Revision C.02 differs from Revision C.01 only in including support for NVIDIA A100 GPUs on x86-64 Linux computer systems. If a customer does not use NVIDIA A100 GPUs, there is no reason to upgrade their current C.01 revision software. Apart from A100 GPU support, the resulting binaries offer the same functionality as Revision C.01.

 

Only Gaussian 16 source code and Gaussian 16 AVX2-enabled binary code for x86-64 Linux are now available as Revision C.02. The current and most recent revision of Gaussian 16 for all other platforms remains unchanged at C.01.
